I am an independent consultant specializing in organizational change, transition management, Executive Transitions and serving as an experienced Board member and Interim Executive Director/CEO. I believe in building both board and staff capacity by providing educational strategies and tools for informed choices and decisive action. I enjoy leadership mobilization, program development and expansion, board efficiency strategies, advocacy, organizational restructuring, financial planning, and creating earned income strategies.

With over 30 years of executive management experience, plus a unique combination of business and health administration, I bring clarity, calmness, and a practical hands-on approach to challenges and dilemmas faced by many companies. I have led a variety of organizations to new levels of achievement and creativity.

My experiences have allowed me to develop my abilities to work within a variety of settings with many diverse board and staff members. I am a compassionate advocate for children, communities, prevention and treatment programs, and arts and cultural institutions. I have successfully collaborated with partners of all types:  private corporations and publicly held companies, local and state governments, elected officials, education, law enforcement, universities, community and family foundations and numerous nonprofit corporations.

I hold a Master of Public Health in school and community health education and a Master of Business Administration in organizational leadership.

My unique combination of educational and professional experience gives me a keen sense of how to “Run businesses with heart!”
